Um dem Thema der Arbeit gerecht zu werden ist es von Noten, den Begriff sowie dessen theoretische Konzeption vorzustellen. Jedoch sei gleich zu Beginn darauf hingewiesen, dass innerhalb der Literaturwissenschaft kaum Einigkeit uber Bedeutung des Begriffs Intertextualitat, der wesentliches Element der Transtextualitat ist, herrscht.
